When I First Start My Crochet Business

Beginning my journey with crocheting has been a blessing. It all started many years ago when I was just 9 years old in Girl Scouts. One of the Troop Leaders and a cherished neighborhood friend, Winona Brown, took the time to teach me. After my parents passed away, she and her husband became even more significant in my life. I am so grateful!
I started making baby clothes because they were quick and easy to produce due to their small size. I didn't enjoy crocheting blankets, as they involved monotonous long rows of identical stitches, "baby bye"!!! Over the years, I've made a few here and there, but not frequently. I prefer experimenting with new stitches or patterns.
After that, I learned how to crochet baby dresses, followed by baby layettes complete with booties, bonnets, socks, and mittens. Eventually, I figured out how to crochet little girl tutu dresses with tulle skirts. Whoa Baby, I believed I had found my niche...
Eventually, in more recent years, I rediscovered my passion for machine knitting scarves and beanies, along with crocheting various hats and handbags. I'll talk about this in future blogs. Just reminiscing. See you next week......Pam Brown, T&P Handmade Collections.
