Summer 2024 Learning To Make Raffia Hats

This summer I really delved into how raffia yarn really works. Discovered some raffia yarn

was very thin and some very stiff or thick. The stiffer raffia worked best in making raffia hats. While researching, I found a wonderful tutorial on "YouTube": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8j1sq5LnZCo. I also watched numerous videos on how to shape fedora hats with pressing and blocking.
